The paradise for families: Annaberg lifts ski resort
Relaxed skiing fun in the most versatile family ski resort of the Mostviertel region.
Although the proportion of families at the Annaberg lifts is higher than anywhere else in the Mostviertel region, the charming ski resort at Mt. Hennesteck also offers connoisseurs and experts a wide variety of wintertime activities.
Versatile winter holidays in the Annaberg family ski resort
The Annaberg lifts ski resort lies between magical forests, gentle and steep snow slopes and has just about everything that families expect from a great skiing holiday: family-friendly hosts, varied slopes, magnificent views and attractive offers.
In Annaberg everyone will find something to their taste: FIS-compatible slopes and mogul fields for ski virtuosos and daredevil snowboarders, sweeping slopes for hobby skiers and flat gliding courses for families and everyone who prefers to take it easy. Six lifts cover 12.5 kilometres of slopes.
Anna Park: The snow park for kids
The Anna Park consists of three freestyle areas and brings fun and action even for the youngest winter sport enthusiasts. In the Family Area, it is great to dare and make your first attempts at freestyling or jumps. In the Anna Park Wave Ride you can learn to control speed and balance in a playful manner. In the FunCross Area you are challenged to face steep turns, snow waves and jumps on a length of 800 m – kids can choose between two different lines (beginner or pro).

Off-piste winter fun in Annaberg
Insiders' tip: Every Thursday (5 to 8:30 p.m.) ascent enthusiasts can come together for the ski touring evening and climb Mt. Hennesteck. Perfect for a fun evening with the family is night tobogganing in the ski resort (on Saturdays from 5 to 7 p.m.).
An experience that you will remember for a long time is the horse-drawn sleigh ride through the Annaberg winter wonderland. If you want to do without horsepower and rather use your own muscles, activities such as cross-country skiing and snowshoeing take you through the beautiful landscapes. 18 kilometres of well-groomed cross-country ski tracks and signposted hiking routes show you the way.
